The Design Phase

This phase can be some people’s favorite part, for others it’s just another thing to worry about. CDI has been helping our clients ease through the color and design process for 45 years. So regardless of if you’re looking forward to or dreading picking out your RV’s new design, you know you and your rig will be well taken care of.

We start by collecting some basic information about your vehicle. Things like year, make, model, VIN#, etc. We’ll also ask you to send some pictures so we can get an idea of what we’ll be working with. Our customer care team will also ask some questions more specific to your tastes. Light colors or dark colors? Swirls or straight lines? Earth tones or vibrant colors? You get the picture.

You’ll also be able to look over our online catalog of proprietary designs during this process. But, you won’t be hindered by a set amount of designs, as was the case with Pat & Sue. After gauging what they wanted in their design and careful consideration, we sent over some additional designs over email to narrow down to the design they felt worked best.

Our goal is to get as much pre-work done as possible so that we can get your coach back to you in a timely fashion. But we also recognize repainting your RV is a big decision, and frankly, sometimes you need to immerse yourself at our campus to land on a final decision/ And that’s okay.

Sometimes you just need to see actual color samples next to one another to see how the colors play together. It is a good idea to pick out your paint colors in-person, when you drop off your coach. This allows you to see the colors inside and outside in the sun. In the end, the Design phase is the most important step of the process to ensure you are 100% comfortable with the choices you made.
